Many of you would remember with great fondness school excursions from your childhood. These trips out of the classroom and into the real world provide valuable learning experiences that are extremely difficult to duplicate at school. Excursions are carefully chosen to complement and extend the learning that has already taken place and are wonderful experiences the children will carry with them in the years ahead.
Recent excursions for Mt Colah students have included a visit to the Imax Cinema for Stage 3 students to see the movie Shackleton, a visit to the Schoolhouse Museum for Year 1 students and Stage 2 students ventured out by public transport to view many of Sydney's iconic landmarks.
