Mount Colah Public School's annual Grandparents Day, held during Education Week, was yet another outstanding success with hundreds of grandparents coming from far and wide to see what learning is all about in the 21st century. VIP guests also included the School Education Director, Jason Miezes and local MP Matt Keen. Visitors were entertained with performances from the school bands, senior dance group and items from classes. Then it was into the classrooms to get a taste of how schooling has changed over the years. Grandparents then got to share moring tea with their grandchildren as a final activity.
This day is always a highlight on the MCPS calendar and the smiles on the faces of both the students and the visitors was evidence of its continued popularity.
