The Harbour bridge provided a scenic backdrop for 36 students from Years 5-6 as they gathered for the 2011 Festival of Choral Music. After learning a repertoire of 11 songs, including traditional tunes such as 'All Things Bright and Beautiful' as well as popular songs such as Chattanooga Choo Choo, the students thoroughly enjoyed the prestige of singing in the Concert Hall of the Sydney Opera House.
The remaining 31 students from the Primary Choir also participated in the Arts North Primary Choral Concert on Monday evening, 5th September, and this was also held in the Concert Hall of the Sydney Opera House. It has certainly been a demanding and busy time for the choir this year.
