Mount Colah is a friendly caring school. The large grassed playing fields, all weather multipurpose court, cricket nets and play equipment allow children space and opportunity to play, exercise and have fun. Our modern facilities and up to date technology in classrooms provide a stimulating environment for learning.
Emphasis is placed on quality teaching programs with a focus on literacy and numeracy. Our extra curricula activities ensure a varied educational experience.
The school offers an extensive music tuition program strengthened by involvement in our Concert and Waratah bands. Participation in P.S.S.A. is an ongoing feature of sporting programs. Opportunity to represent the school can be sought in swimming, athletics, cross country, soccer, netball, cricket, softball and touch football.
Development of leadership skills and the establishment of a sense of community between students underpin all that we strive to achieve at Mount Colah. Students are provided with opportunities to develop friendships across the school through peer support and buddy programs involving all grades.
Parent participation is valued and encouraged. The effectiveness of programs across the school is enhanced through the large number of parent volunteers providing their support.
