Taking off with Technology

There is a buzz of excitement in the 6B and 5/6C classrooms this term as they now have access to a bank of thirty netbook computers which are wirelessly connected to the school network. Students can now be researching using the internet, completing online activities, communicating online or presenting work, all without leaving their desks. The new technology opens up a whole host of exciting and interesting ways of learning and communicating. The classes have set up a secure online community that allows them to safely share information, find resources and submit work for marking. Who knows what will come next?
