During Week 7 Year 3 students joined author Paul Stafford via video conference for a series of four writing workshops. Paul used some of the crazy critters from the Somerville Collection of fossils and minerals, housed at Bathurst, to help students develop their narrative writing skills. He guided students through a scaffolded process where they discussed and developed story plans, sharing ideas with two other schools which were also part of the workshops. Students will now go on to complete their stories and put their skills to good use with even more writing tasks.
